FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat exchange technology and can be used to create heat exchangers. Heat exchanger includes housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes for inlet and outlet of hot and cold flows, heat exchange elements made in the form of several coaxially installed shells located with respect to each other with annular gaps, which form annular cavities. Annular cavities of hot and cold flows regularly alternate. On end faces of shells there are end profiled bottoms fixed to each other and to the housing and forming in-series arranged annular cavities. Said bottoms have isolated channels connecting said end cavities through one another. Said annular cavities of heat exchange elements are connected to cavities of inlet and outlet branch pipes of cold and hot flows through the above butt-end cavities formed with profiled bottoms.
EFFECT: present invention ensures uniformity of heating of shells and, accordingly, increases efficiency of heat exchanger operation.
