FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of anticorrosive and protective epoxy coatings and can be used as a primer or self-coating for steel articles operating both in road and base conditions, for example, for coatings of pipes of gas pipelines, shutoff equipment, various reservoirs. Coating composition contains component (A) and component (B) at ratio of 1:(0.5–0.8). Component (A) has the following composition, (wt%): epoxy resin DER-331 9–12, epoxy resin grade E-4019-21, epoxy resin DER-671 18.5–20.5, zinc phosphate 9.0–9.5, chromium oxide 8.0–8.5, strontium chromate 3.0–3.5, microtalc 8–9, rheological additive Garamite 1958 0.4–1.1, adhesion additive Silane A-187 0.2–0.4, ethyl acetate 9–11, toluene 9–10. Component B has the following composition (wt%): amine curing agent AF-2 14–15, 4,4-'diaminodiphenylmethane 1.0–3.4, triethylenediamine 0.2–0.4, epoxy resin ED-20 6–7, Laproxide-703 1–2, isopropyl alcohol 37–40, toluene 36–38.

EFFECT: invention provides longer period of sedimentation stability of composition, possibility of more uniform application of the primer coating on the treated surface and shorter time for achieving the required value of the adhesion index between the claimed primer composition and the outer protective coating.
