FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a cartridge, a photosensitive element assembly and an electrophotographic image forming device, into which said cartridge and / or said photosensitive element assembly can be installed with possibility of removal. Disclosed group includes an electrophotographic image forming device and a photosensitive element assembly, which is removed from the main assembly of the electrophotographic image forming device, which includes a rotating engaging part on the side of the main assembly. Photosensitive element assembly comprises: (i) a photosensitive element having an axis of rotation extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of removal of said photosensitive element assembly, (ii) a flange for transmitting a rotating force from said connecting element to said photosensitive member, wherein the flange includes a hollow portion, and (iii) a connecting member provided at one end portion of said photosensitive member to transmit a rotating force to said photosensitive member from the engaging portion of the main assembly, wherein said connecting member can displace between a first position in which the axis of rotation of said connecting element substantially aligns with the axis of rotation of said photosensitive element, and a second position, in which axis of rotation of said connecting element is substantially parallel with axis of rotation of said photosensitive element, and in which said connecting element is shifted from first position to other end section of said photosensitive element in direction of rotation axis of said photosensitive element and offset, inside said hollow portion, when viewing along the axis of said connecting element, from the first position in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation, wherein the flange is made with a guide portion for guiding the connecting member, and said connecting element is made with a guide section for its direction by said flange, and wherein said guide portion directs said connecting member with possibility of moving in direction, substantially parallel with the axis of rotation of said photosensitive member in accordance with movement of said connecting element in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation of said photosensitive element.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide a cartridge or a photosensitive element assembly, which are removable from the main assembly without impairing the convenience and ease of use in a predetermined direction substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rotating member, the main assembly does not include a mechanism for moving the engaging portion on the side of the main assembly in the direction of the rotation axis in response to the operation of opening and closing the main assembly cover for the main assembly.
