FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a cartridge, a photosensitive element assembly and a device for forming electrophotographic images into which said cartridge and/or said photosensitive element assembly can be detachably mounted. Disclosed group of inventions includes embodiments of cartridges removed from main assembly of electrophotographic images forming device, embodiments of electrophotographic image forming devices and embodiments of photosensitive element assemblies, which are taken from the main assembly of the electrophotographic image forming device. Disclosed cartridge comprises: a rotatable member capable of carrying a developer and having an axis of rotation extending in a direction, substantially perpendicular to direction of removal of said cartridge, connecting element provided at one end portion of said cartridge relative to said rotational axis for transmitting rotary force from rotary engaging part on main assembly side to said rotary member, and a rotating force transmitting element and including a hollow portion, wherein said connecting member can displace between a first position in which the axis of rotation of said connecting member is substantially parallel with the axis of rotation of said rotating member, and second position, in which said connecting element is displaced from first position in direction of rotation axis of said rotating element to other end section of said cartridge, in said second position, rotation axis of said connecting element is substantially parallel with rotation axis of said rotating element, and said connecting element is shifted, inside said hollow section, if viewed along axis of said connecting element, from first position in direction perpendicular to rotation axis of said rotating element, said rotary force transmission element is provided with guide section intended for connection element direction, and said connecting element is provided with guided section.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing a cartridge or a photosensitive element assembly, which are removable from the main assembly without deterioration of convenience and ease of use in a predetermined direction, substantially perpendicular to the rotational member rotational axis, wherein the main assembly does not comprise a mechanism for moving the engaging portion on the side of the main assembly in the direction of the axis of rotation in response to the main assembly cover opening and closing operation for the main assembly.
