FIELD: electrophotography.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the electrophotographic image forming device (imaging device) and to the cartridge removably mounted in the image forming device main unit. Claimed group of inventions includes variants of process cartridges and electrophotographic image forming devices. At that, the process cartridge comprises: (i) rotating photosensitive element, (ii) rotating developing roller configured to develop latent image formed on the said photosensitive element, wherein the said developing roller allows its engagement and placement with the clearance from the said photosensitive element, (iii) pressing force receiving portion configured to receive, from the pressing element on the side of the main unit, pressing force for placement, with the clearance, of the said developing roller, from the said photosensitive element, (iv) drive transmission element on the cartridge side configured to be connected to the drive transmission element on the main unit side and configured to receive from the drive transmission element on the main unit side, of rotating force for the said developing roller rotation and (v) disengaging element adapted to disengage the said drive transmission element on the cartridge side from the drive transmission element on the main unit side in response to the pressing force reception by the said pressing force receiving portion.

EFFECT: technical result is broader functional capabilities.
