SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making an edge profile for a furniture element, in which the edge film extending in a longitudinal direction is equipped with a decorative pattern and in which the edge film is equipped with a three-dimensional structure, as well as to part of furniture with plate-shaped material, which contains at least narrow side, as well as upper side and lower side, and with at least one edge profile. Method of making an edge profile for a furniture element, wherein the edge film passing in the longitudinal direction is equipped with a decorative pattern and equipped with a three-dimensional structure. Decorative pattern and structure are arranged such that the structure is mainly congruent to the decorative pattern. Edge film is first equipped with a decorative pattern, and then with a structure or with a structure first, and then with a decorative pattern. Edge film is produced by extrusion of thermoplastic polymer material.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing tactile properties of manufactured furniture.
