Proposed unit comprises biocidal container seat to receive pressurized water container, compressed air inlet port for connection of service water supply unit with compressed air source, connecting element for compressed air by means of which compressed air exiting from compressed air inlet can be introduced into water container under pressure, and a service water connection element, through which process water to be supplied from the pressurized water container by means of compressed air introduced into the pressurized water container, can be dispensed to the treatment unit. Service water supply unit has a sterile air filter built into the compressed air passage between the compressed air inlet port and the compressed air connection element. Disclosed are a dental treatment unit and an ENT treatment unit comprising a service water supply unit, as well as a method of operating a service water supply unit.
