SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. Method includes the following steps: the network device sends scheduling information for system information which contains dedicated system information for the terminal device. Scheduling information comprises at least one of: information on time-frequency resource of selected system information, modulation and coding scheme of selected system information, information on period of planning selected system information, time of operation of period of selected system information, information on mode of selected system information or time of action of mode of selected system information. Further, system information is sent by network device according to scheduling information.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is higher efficiency of using resources owing to periodic transmission of system information, which also enables to reduce signalling costs.
