FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: composition contains a thermoplastic fluoropolymer having vinylidene fluoride units in amount of at least 30 mole percent and tetrafluoroethylene links in amount of at least 5 mole percent. Thermoplastic fluoropolymer is free of hexafluoropropylene links or contains less than 5 mole percent of hexafluoropropylene links. Composition additionally contains at least one of non-fluorinated, thermoplastic polymer as main component of composition or synergist of polymer process additive. Besides, there is a method of reducing melt defects during polymer extrusion and using a thermoplastic fluoropolymer as a polymer process additive.
EFFECT: invention relates to a composition for reducing melt defects during extrusion of a non-fluorinated polymer.
