FIELD: optical systems.

SUBSTANCE: method of correcting optical aberrations is based on dividing a complete procedure for computational correction of aberrations of an optical system into two separate (independent) actions: forming an optical system profile and correcting aberrations of the optical system using an "optical profile". First action is performed before the second one and provides collecting information on the optical system, extracting the function of scattering points, dividing the function of scattering points into parts, wherein the parts are at least part of the near field and part of the far field, far field correction, training of the neural network, extraction of weight coefficients of neural network and formation of profile of optical system. Second action involves formation of the initial image in the optical system, use of far field correction, calculation of the output value of the neural network and formation of the corrected image, where the corrected image is the initial image with reduced optical aberrations.

EFFECT: invention allows correcting aberrations of the optical system.
