FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, in particular to measurements of electric resistances by electric bridges, and can be used, for example, in temperature measurements, including during calibration of thermal resistors: resistance thermometers, thermistors, posistors and their use for temperature measurements with electric bridges in instrument-making. Disclosed is a method of measuring temperature, based on using a balanced electric bridge, powered by a current source. Constant resistors with equal electric resistances are installed in circuit of balanced electric bridge. Power supply of the bridge is made by a source of stabilized current, the value of which is set not more than twice the value of current providing permissible error of temperature measurement by the measured thermoresistor due to its heating with flowing measurement current.

EFFECT: technical result is reduced error of temperature measurement by electric bridge due to heating (self-heating) of thermistor (resistance thermometer, thermistor, posistor) flowing measurement current.
