METHOD AND BENCH FOR TESTING TRANSMISSION WITH GLOBOID WORM Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01M13/02

FIELD: transport machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting and transport machine building, namely, to equipment of acceptance of delivery, standard and other types of field testing of heavily loaded crane devices with relatively low speeds. In the disclosed test method, first, the runner of the formed sliding pair is first run-in (macrorunning-in), and then it is tested by microrunning-in process by increasing sliding pair loading to the level on its jamming edge and with continuous control of friction parameters and sliding pair operability parameters. Control results are used to assess the operability of the sliding pair and to stop the process of microrunning-in of the coupled sliding pair if the actual operability of the pair corresponds to the expected value. Tests of globoid worm and conjugated toothed rim are carried out with their regular fixation in rotary device housing with working fluid. Process of macrorunning-in of sliding pair is performed in mode of supply to the shaft of globoid worm increased amount of rotary energy to level, which must ensure maximum permissible rotation speed of the gear rim, while load at the device output is kept invariable at the minimum level. Primary running-in (macroturning over) process is continued until current control of energy parameters of input and output of rotary device begins to fix their steady-state values. After that, the sliding pair is subjected to microturning over, gradually increasing the moment of resistance on the gear rim to the level on the jamming edge of the sliding pair from overload or the beginning of the "spreading" of the gear rim material on the surface of the globoid worm with the constant value of the moving moment on the shaft of the globoid worm. Moment of resistance loading is stopped when the current value of the device efficiency becomes hardly varying (steady) or reaches the specified value. Upon completion of the tests, the rotary device is flushed with replacement of the working fluid without dismantling the sliding pair. Test bench for implementation of the proposed method includes an accelerating hydraulic pump with an electric motor, hydraulically connected to a drive hydraulic motor of the tested transmission and having hydraulic feedback with a test bench hydraulic pump, loading hydraulic pump is kinematically connected to output of tested transmission, and also hydraulic distributor with electromagnets, hydraulic accumulators with pressure sensors, control electromagnets of hydraulic distributor. Tested worm gear is fixed on the standard gear in the body of the rotary device with the working fluid, the input shaft of the globoid worm is connected to the shaft of the main drive hydraulic motor of the rotary device through the planetary gearbox built into the rotary device.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring the quality of accelerated tests of coupled sliding pair with minimum operational and power costs with simultaneous increase in reliability of test results.
