FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and is intended for construction of active phased antenna arrays (APAA) for radio communication and radar systems. At that, for radiation and reception of signals, antenna elements are used, wherein in transmission mode, a transmitted signal is generated, amplified in a power amplifier, distributed using a distribution system, in transmission mode, setting the direction of the transmitting beam using phase changers, receive mode amplifies received signals, converts them by frequency, performs their discretisation and generates receiving pattern by weight summation of signals in digital beam formation system. According to the invention, antenna elements are placed on front panels of multichannel transceiving modules in nodes of rectangular or triangular grid, with pitch along vertical and horizontal, determined by required scanning sector respectively in vertical and horizontal planes, connecting each emitter with a communication line of minimum length to the input / output of one of the channels of the multichannel transceiving module, wherein in the transmitting part of each channel, a power amplifier and a phase shifter are installed, and to isolate the receiving and transmitting parts of the channel, a circulator or switch is used, forming an antenna band of the active phased antenna array from multichannel transceiving modules, by placing them adjacent to each other such that the surfaces of their front panels are located in one plane, and the distance between the radiators is kept constant in the vertical and horizontal planes, wherein the front panels of the transceiving modules function as a screen, generating a heterodyne signal, a sampling clock signal, and distributing said signals through a distribution system to multichannel transceiving modules, in transmission mode transmitting beam is formed with given shape by setting phase and amplitude ratios of transmitted signal in channels of transceiving modules, wherein in the reception mode, the signal at the intermediate frequency is sampled from the output of each channel of the transceiver module, and the receiving beam pattern is formed with the required number of beams.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of sizes of active phased antenna array.
