FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fastener with possibility of shaft rotation, and in particular to a bearing cover protected against improper handling, which is a component part of the shaft assembly. Shaft assembly contains two or more protected from incorrect circulation of covers (10f, 10r) of bearings. In each of covers (10f, 10r) protected against abnormal contact of bearings there is a pair of locating holes (13a, 13b) shifted relative to central axis (YY) of bearing cover at different distance (X1, X2) of displacement. Bearing cover (10f, 10r) defines semi-cylindrical recess (12) arranged so as to ensure in operation alignment of central axis (c-c) of semi-cylindrical recess (12) in bearing cover (10f, 10r) in one line with axis (ZZ) of shaft (8) fixed with possibility of rotation by means of cover (10f, 10r) of bearing. Difference in mounting holes (13a, 13b) distances (X1, X2) prevents assembly of bearing cover (10f, 10r) with reverse orientation. To ensure installation of each bearing cover (10f, 10r) in one position, centre-to-centre distance (S) between first and second mounting holes (13a, 13b) of each bearing cover (10f, 10r) is made different from centre-to-centre distance made for other covers (10f, 10r) of bearings used for attachment of single shaft (8).
EFFECT: technical result is the development of a bearing cover, which is simple and cheap to manufacture, but is made so that to prevent assembly of bearing cover with wrong orientation.
