FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: key is designed for unscrewing the drain plugs of the crankcase cavities of the machines and can be used for maintenance and repair thereof. Key is shaped in the form of ledges at the ends of the handle, and at the end of the horizontal shelf of the ledge there is a jaw with a vertical axis of rotation. Ledge at one end of the handle is directed upward from the handle, and at a right angle, the ledge at the other end of it is directed just down from the handle and also at a right angle. Height of each ledge together with the jaw and the thickness of the key handle is somewhat less than the height of the gap between the bottom surface of the crankcase and the upper cut of the funnel, which lies in the horizontal plane. Distance from the axis of rotation of the jaw to the vertical wall of the ledge on the side of the opposite end from the specified jaw is somewhat larger than the radius of the funnel.
EFFECT: proposed key is easy to use and prevents contamination of the operator hands, base or soil with oil.
