DEVICE WITH KNEE-SHAPED SUPPORT TUBE FOR DRAINING OIL FROM MACHINE CRANKCASE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC F16N31/00

Abstract RU 2733569 C2

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular to devices for draining liquids from crankcase chambers, and can be used during their maintenance and repair. Device consists of a canister with a handle, a neck and a lid tightly attached to the neck, a funnel with an element attached to its tube for passing oil from the funnel into the cavity of the canister, at that, the element free end is interconnected with the canister cavity through its neck, at that the canister is installed on the base horizontally, and so, that its neck is on top, and the handle is at the bottom, element for passing oil from the funnel into the canister cavity is made in the form of a rigid base for the funnel in the form of a knee-shaped tube, one end of which, horizontal, is passed through the neck cover and is tightly connected to the said cover, on the other end, a vertical funnel is installed, wherein along the length the vertical end of the tube is made such that the overall size of the device in height is less than the distance from the base to the bottom surface of the crankcase, the capacity of the tube is greater than the capacity of the funnel, the throughput capacity of which in turn is greater than the throughput capacity of the drain hole of the crankcase.

EFFECT: simple drain device ensuring possibility of using canister when servicing machines.
