FIELD: lifting devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elevator control device (22), mounting device for mounting of shaft equipment and method of control of mounting platform. Control device (22) controls elevator car movements and comprises sensor unit (23) for registration of motion parameter (42) and at least one processing device (24) which processes registered motion parameter (42) and compares it with limit value. When the limit value is exceeded, signal output (26) is switched on and thus the brake or catcher (7) is activated. Control device (22) selects a limit value from the given limit values (52) depending on the state of monitoring device (22). Specified limit values (52) include at least one limit value (48) of normal operation, and monitoring device (22) indicates normal state (47), if specified connected elements (27) are connected to monitoring device (22). Control device (22) comprises control standard program (25) for establishing state of monitoring device (22) and selects limit value from preset limit values (52) depending on said state.

EFFECT: inventions provide simplification of operation and reliability of use.
