FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to calf feeding during the milking period, and can be used in growing of young cattle both at large industrial complexes, and in farms aimed at intensive growing of repair litter of dairy cattle breeds. Method for intensive rearing of young cattle involves feeding fodder milk in fodder to feed calves under two months of age in the form of whole milk. In addition, the milk product is represented by skimmed milk. From birth to 50th day calves are fed with 7–11 l/head of whole milk, and at age from 50 to 110th day calves are given in amount of 13 l/head a day. Cellobakterin is added into whole milk and skimmed milk in amount of 3 g/head.
EFFECT: invention provides higher intensity of growth of calves due to developing microflora of pre-stomachs.
