SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in method of growing replacement heifers. Method involves feeding calves with a balanced diet containing milk or colostrum with addition of a metabiotic preparation based on the Bacillus pumilus bacteria strain. Feeding is carried out daily from birth to 30 days of age in dose of 20 ml per one animal a day.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of growing replacement heifers.
