SUBSTANCE: described is heat exchanger (1; 1*, 100), including: a bundle of tubes (8), each of which passes in a corresponding longitudinal direction (XI) and defines a working fluid flow channel extending in said longitudinal direction, wherein each pipe bundle tube (8) can receive working fluid medium; matrix (6) of heat-conducting material, in which tubes (8) of said bundle are arranged and which is made so as to facilitate heat exchange between working fluids passing through appropriate tubes (8) of said bundle; and shell (4) of heat-insulating material located around said matrix (6), wherein: said matrix (6) consists of multiple sections (10; 10*) arranged along said longitudinal direction (XI) and alternating with heat barriers (12) located across said longitudinal direction (XI).
