FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for producing electrical or mechanical energy. Hydrostatic engine comprises at least one water intake pipe for feeding water into buckets of at least one vertical elevator from side of its at least one drive sprocket, rigidly fitted on the drive ball-bearing shaft, on which at least one driving sprocket of the vertical ball-lifting elevator is rigidly mounted, vertical ball-lifting elevator comprising upper ball-feeding sprocket, rigidly mounted on driven power shaft with flywheel and connected via flexible gear to lower ball-bearing sprocket, guide chute through which balls move away from driving sprocket of globose-lifting conveyor to upper sprocket, ball-lifting elevator, through which balls from upper sprocket extend to lower sprocket, from which balls on supply chute are diverted to driven sprocket of ball-lifting elevator. Weight of water collected in buckets is at least twice less than weight of balls located in ball-lifting elevator. Diameter of drive sprocket of elevator is at least twice larger than diameter of driving sprocket of ball-lifting elevator.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the amount of mechanical or electrical energy.
