FIELD: construction; power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: energy converter includes a dam with a water level, which contains at least one opening, that connects a filling reservoir with a discharge reservoir via a valve. Filling and discharge reservoirs comprise water intake and water drain systems and are connected to the atmosphere via the system of air intake and air exhaust. In air exhaust pipe there is installed a cone-shaped air conveyor. One air generator is connected at the inlet to the air intake pipe, and the second one is connected at the outlet to the air exhaust pipe. In the lower part of the filling reservoir of the energy converter there is a hydraulic turbine. On the dam, at the side of the water drain, there are installed a scraper conveyor, a bucket conveyor, a hydraulic turbine, an impeller with a generator.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining maximum amount of converted energy from one cubic meter of water.
