ONBOARD EQUIPMENT FOR FIRING DETECTION AND FACILITATING PILOTING Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01S3/80

Abstract RU 2717753 C2

FIELD: military equipment; aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combined method to facilitate piloting and detection of firing, as well as to onboard equipment for aircraft. Disclosed onboard firing detection equipment and piloting facilitating for aircraft comprises multi-sensor system, supplying signals representing aircraft environment. Multi-sensor system includes at least one system, called LWIR/MWIR system, a supply signal, called LWIR/MWIR signal, which is infrared radiation lying in far infrared or middle infrared range; at least one system, called a NIR system, supplying signal, referred to as a NIR signal, which is infrared radiation lying in the near infrared range; and at least one acoustic system supplying an acoustic signal. Onboard equipment also includes at least one processing module configured to perform: a piloting facilitating procedure to obtain first piloting information containing information representing obstacles present in the environment of the aircraft; and firing detection procedure to obtain second information on piloting, containing information representing firing near aircraft. Procedure for facilitating piloting and the firing detection procedure share signals which represent the environment of the aircraft and contain at least LWIR/MWIR signal from the same LWIR/MWIR system. Onboard firing detection and piloting facilitating equipment is configured to obtain piloting facilitating parameters from the first and second piloting information.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of a single system for detecting firing and facilitating piloting.
