FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detection and classification of scene events. Achievement of the result is ensured by means of a single-frame imaging system equipped with a VisNIR detector in 0.6–1.1 mcm wavelength range and a SWIR detector. Step of obtaining synchronized VisNIR and SWIR of successive two-dimensional images is carried out, a step of displaying VisNIR images and a step of processing said images, which consists in comparing SWIR images to determine, for each pixel, change in illumination from one SWIR image to another and a peak value of said SWIR illumination.
EFFECT: providing reliable recognition of scene events.
