FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of growing water-soluble optical monocrystals, particularly a potassium dihydrophosphate (KDP) group, which can be used, for example, in making active elements of parametric laser radiation converters for quantum optics. In the proposed method, a crystalliser and a thermostatically controlled saturation chamber are connected to a system of communicating vessels, as a result of which a supersaturated solution from the crystallizer enters a thermostatically controlled saturation chamber by means of natural hydrostatic overflow. To condition solution, coalescer of air microbubbles is used together with gas separator with chamber and outlet valve, which together perform hydrocyclone function and provide output of undesirable air from circulating solution, and microfilters for its filtration from solid microparticles. As a result, crystallizer is returned with solution with temperature higher than saturation temperature, saturated with dissolved substance required for growth of monocrystal, depleted of dissolved air, filtered from solid microparticles.

EFFECT: this allows to organize high-quality monocrystals growth process and reduce the necessary volume of growth equipment to minimum.
