SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling of wells, namely to drilling units for drilling wells of various purposes. Technical result is achieved by using a drilling rig comprising a base, a tackle driven by a hydraulic cylinder, a mast hinged to an axle and provided with a carriage with a rotator, upper and lower mast rolls for tackle branches, mast lifting and lowering hydraulic cylinder, at that, tackle is arranged on the base, and tackle branches are mated with upper and lower mast rollers via rollers installed on base in zone of hinged connection with mast.

EFFECT: increased stability of drilling rig due to reduced weight of drilling rig and displacement of its center of gravity towards the middle of base.
