FIELD: smoke generators.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of small-size jet smoke generators. Smoke generator comprises an evaporator with an outlet for smoke, a vessel with a smoke-forming liquid, a smoke-forming liquid supply device to the evaporator, an electric power supply, an evaporator temperature monitoring sensor, wherein the evaporator consists of a housing and an evaporator tube made of an electrically conductive material and connected in series as a resistor to an electrical power source, wherein the evaporator tube has a heated insert made of a porous material whose length is greater than the diameter of the evaporator tube.

EFFECT: stabilization of device operation, increased efficiency, reduction of overall dimensions.
