FIELD: textile.
SUBSTANCE: present document discloses a patterned hydroentangled non-woven sheet material containing at least 25 wt. % of cellulose fibrous mass, in which the surface area of 1 % to 20 % of at least one surface is printed to form a pattern which is distinguishable by visual and/or tactile differences between printed and non-printed areas. Non-woven sheet material can be made by means of: forming a fibrous web containing thermoplastic fibres and a cellulose fibrous mass; hydroentangling the fibrous web to form a nonwoven sheet material; drying and subsequent exposure of dried non-woven sheet material to printing, which is ensured by using an energy transmitter, in particular, using ultrasonic energy, on a patterned support at temperature below 100 °C, with formation of a patterned non-woven sheet material.
EFFECT: disclosed is a patterned non-woven material.
