FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining the manufacturing time of a predetermined batch of articles. In the method, at each stage of production of an article using a monitoring device, the time of manufacturing operations for the manufacture of each article is tracked and the time of use of equipment used for making each article at each stage of production is recorded, obtaining production information, which is recorded in a computer database using a monitoring means, using the computer, determining the average production time of one item of the product based on the database information, determining the time for servicing equipment during production of a predetermined batch of articles based on the time of use of each piece of equipment at each stage of production and the maintenance time of the equipment, production time of a pre-known batch of articles is determined based on the number of articles in the batch, the average production time of one item of the product and the time for servicing the equipment.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of determining the manufacturing time of a predetermined batch of articles.
