SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Document ranking method in response to the current request includes for the current request: ranking by the server implementing the machine learning algorithm a plurality of relevant documents to be included in the search results page in response to the current request, wherein a plurality of relevant documents is associated with corresponding preliminary ranks on the search results page, and the current request and the corresponding one of the plurality of relevant documents form the corresponding current search pair; for the current search pair: creation by the server of evaluation of rank correction associated with the stored search pair from the plurality of stored search pairs based on: (i) pair-dependent value of stored search pair, and (ii) paired similarity between current search pair and stored search pair; re-ranking the server of the relevant document from the current search pair on the search results page using the corresponding rank correction estimate.

EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of repeated ranking of at least some relevant documents on the search results page.
