FIELD: optoelectronic surveillance system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing and analysis of video data received from video surveillance cameras. A system for detecting potentially hazardous situations includes a video camera, a memory, a graphical user interface (GUI) and a data processing device. Data processing device configured to obtain video data in real time, analyzing the obtained video data, obtaining horizontal lines for each of the specified correcting vertical lines, dividing the frame into zones, constructing a foot vector from a pair of key points of lower extremities and determining their belonging to one of the obtained zones, constructing a back vector, determining an angle of deviation of the lower extremities between the obtained back vector and the foot vector, determining the human posture, detecting a potentially dangerous situation if the individual's posture is one of the poses indicating a potentially dangerous situation.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of detecting potentially hazardous situations.
