SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering for virtual designing a garment for users. Technical result is achieved by analyzing the input parametric data, where as a result of the analysis, matching the size features of the user's body with a set of allowable size attributes of clothes and / or comparison of mathematical expressions for calculating dimensions of parts of clothes with a set of permissible mathematical expressions for calculating dimensions of parts of garments, transmitting a request, through a data network to a database of central storage server, wherein said database stores a plurality of parametric data of finished garment articles, and receiving a response with corresponding data from said base, performing automated virtual designing of a garment product based on analyzed parametric data and said sets of parametric data of finished garments, and processing the received parametric data by determining errors and correcting certain errors of the parametric data based on the pre-stored sets of drawings of garment articles and algorithms for calculating parametric data.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of automated virtual designing of clothes for users with subsequent output of result to user while providing error determination and correcting certain errors of parametric data based on a pre-stored plurality of finished garment data and algorithms for calculating parametric data.
