FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to building industry and architecture, namely to methods for determination of colour formula of a face glass, and comparison of the specified colour to a colour palette of glass. That is ensured by measuring a palette of an analysed sample in the range of a spectrum of visible radiation by the spectrophotometric analysis and in addition, measuring a reflection coefficient and a luminosity coefficient. The palette is quantified in coordinates of four basic colour areas with transforming the measurement results into alphanumeric codes with using a mathematical model. Then with using a code databank for each colour, it is possible to determine the formula of that colour of the produced glass which optical characteristics most close correspond to the calculated and desired sample data.
EFFECT: given method can be used as a universal tool for quantitative measurement of colour characteristics of any transparent object and transformation of this information into digital codes.
