FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to powder metallurgy of aluminium and its alloys, and more specifically to production of gas-forming agents used for porous mixture porization in production of foamed concrete. Gasifier for porosity of concrete mixtures during production of foamed concrete includes alumina-containing dry mixture or paste obtained based on powder with aluminium content of not less than 85 wt. % with thickness of powder particles of not more than 10 mcm, and powder obtained by dry grinding of pulverized aluminium alloys with average particle size of not less than 70 mcm, dry mixtures or pastes constituting the base of gas-forming agent, contain copper and/or iron in amount of 0.2 to 10 wt. %, and nickel, cobalt in amount from 1.5 to 5 wt. %, or magnesium and manganese in amount of 1 to 8 wt. %, or silicon in amount of 6 to 11 wt. %, or a combination of said elements, promoting corrosion of aluminium, including galvanic and pitting corrosion. Method of producing said gas-forming agent involves dry grinding of aluminium powders in horizontal ball mills in presence of 1.5–3 wt. % of a milling modifier, represented by stearic acid, to powder particles thickness of not more than 10 mcm, adding to obtained powder from 10 to 50 % of weight of alloy powder with average particle size of not more than 10 mcm with subsequent stirring. Inventions are developed in dependant claims.

EFFECT: technical result is improved kinetics of hydrogen release at initial stage of gas release, which enables to achieve more uniform distribution of pores in cellular concrete, which improves heat-insulating and strength characteristics of foamed concrete.
