FIELD: radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio navigation and can be used to determine spatial coordinates (SC) of a radio-frequency source (RS) located on a stationary or mobile object. On the object, a radio signal is synchronously generated and transmitted in the form of three components, each of which is a harmonic oscillation with a given frequency. At each station, a radio signal transmitted from an object is synchronously quadratured received. Its digital quadrature components (DQC) are formed in contact with preset sampling frequency and number of cycles in the cycle. Next three pairs of quadrature components (QC) corresponding to the components of the transmitted signal are formed in the form of a DQC in a given manner. Then, three pairs of quadrature components are formed by summation of each obtained QC of the corresponding pair. Using the obtained QC, the parameters given in the method are formed and time delays are determined from the formed parameters. Time delays are transmitted to a single center for reception and processing of radio signals, where they are corrected excluding known in the center time shifts occurring when radio signals are received and processed at stations. Corrected time delays and when preset conditions are met unambiguously determine relative ranges to RS from station antennae. Spatial coordinates of RS are uniquely determined from relative distances.
