FIELD: radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio navigation and can be used to determine spatial coordinates (SC) of an object, including a mobile one. At each station, a radio signal is synchronously transmitted in the form of four components, each of which is a harmonic oscillation with a given frequency. Set of radio signals transmitted by stations is received quadrature on the object. Digital quadrature components (DQC) corresponding to the received set of radio signals are generated step-by-step at preset sampling rate and number of strokes in the cycle. Next four pairs (DQC) corresponding to the components of the transmitted radio signals are step-by-step formed by the formed DQC in a pre-set manner. Then, four DQC pairs are formed of them by summation of each obtained quadrature component of the corresponding pair. Using the DQC thus obtained, the parameters given in the method are formed and time delay is determined from the formed parameters, from which time shifts occurring during the formation of radio signals at stations are eliminated. Corrected time delays and when the conditions specified in the method are met, the relative distances to the phase center (PC) of the object antenna from the station PC antennas are uniquely determined. Spatial coordinates of the object PC of the object are uniquely determined from relative distances. Method enables to exclude the effect of radio signals, for example, reflected from ground, and random phases of heterodynes of transmitters and a receiver. No synchronization is required between the object and set of transmitted stations.
EFFECT: unambiguous determination of object SC.
