FIELD: technological processes; ventilation and air conditioning.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas purification devices, mainly, in mine ventilation. Drop-and-liquid catcher includes housing 1 with axial inlet 2 and outlet 3 branch pipes, drip tray 4 with drain branch pipe 5, electric drive 6 and working element 7. Working element 7 is made in the form of diagonal ventilating wheel fixed on rotor of electric drive 6 coaxially to housing 1. Dropper 4 is made chute-shaped and is located in the lower part of body 1. Electric drive 6 and working element 7 are aligned with housing 1 in its upper part along gas flow. Electric drive 6 is installed on spacer bracket 8, fixed to housing 1. Housing 1 is made in the form of cylindrical container with cone-shaped upper part changing into outlet branch pipe 3. Inlet branch pipe 2 is located in lower part of housing 1 and recessed therein to working member 7.
EFFECT: simplification of design, improvement of aerodynamic characteristics of air-gas flows in ramjet upward systems with high speed of gas flow and improvement of efficiency of drop fluid separation from gas phase in wide range of change of gas flow rate and pressure characteristics.
