FIELD: cleaning gases from dropping liquid; entrapping aerosols of compressor oil in compressed gases and air at compressor stations; separation of gas condensate and preparation of natural and casing-head gas in fields for long-distance transportation; oil-and-gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed separator has housing tube with nozzle and separating branch pipe. Branch pipe for outlet of separated gas flow is brought out through wall of housing tube; lower portion of housing tube (in way of flow) is made in form of confuser whose end face is used for bringing out the outlet hole of direct separating branch pipe and additional drain branch pipe coaxial relative to separating branch pipe; both branch pipes are connected with reservoir for draining entrapped liquid; ratio of geometrical sectional areas of outlet hole of direct separating branch pipe and additional drain branch pipe ranges from 0.1 to 0.4 and ratio of geometric sectional areas of inlet hole of separating branch pipe and outlet hole of nozzle ranges from 3 to 6. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of entrapping dropping liquid; reduced secondary entrainment of dropping liquid and film of coalescent liquid. 3 cl, 2 dwg
