FIELD: separating dispersed particles from gases or vapors.

SUBSTANCE: separator comprises housing with inlet, outlet, and drain branch pipes, perforated cylindrical sleeve mounted inside the housing and provided with a trancated housing at its top section, separation chamber which underlies the lid of the housing, rotor provided with the deflector and blades mounted inside the separation chamber whose working surfaces are covered with a belt made of a filtering material, deflecting plate secured to the housing lid inside the separation chamber under the blades, and droplet deflecting member interposed between the deflecting plate and housing and made of a ring made of a filtering material. Between the housing and sleeve is the ring chamber.

EFFECT: reduced hydraulic resistance.
