FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to foundry production of invar alloys with minimum temperature coefficient of linear expansion (TCLE), and can be used for production of parts working in contact with quartz-based material. Proposed alloy contains, wt %: nickel 31.5–32.6; cobalt 9.0–10.0; molybdenum 0.05–0.2; niobium 0.05–0.2; at least one component selected from cerium, lanthanum, yttrium in total of 0.07–0.18; at least one component selected from calcium, strontium, barium in total 0.003–0.006, iron and unavoidable impurities – the rest. Content of alloy components satisfies the following conditions, wt%: Ni + Co = 40.5 ÷ 42.6; Nb + Mo < 0.4; Co/Nb = 45÷200.

EFFECT: reduced temperature coefficient of linear expansion (TCLE) in wide range of temperatures at maintaining required level of casting properties.
