FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to casting invar alloy based on iron, having low value of temperature coefficient of thermal expansion, and used for production of parts with high dimensional stability in precision equipment products, high accuracy measuring tool, as well as for the manufacture of tooling, including large-size, used in the manufacture of articles from composite materials. Alloy contains the following components, wt.%: nickel from more than 30.0 to 36.5, cobalt 11.0 or less, carbon from more than 0.5 to 1.5, one component selected from cerium, lanthanum or yttrium 0.03–0.15, one component selected from calcium, strontium or barium 0.003–0.006, rest is iron and impurities, wherein impurities are contained in amount of 0–0.8.
EFFECT: higher fluidity of the melt.
