FIELD: metal alloys.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the foundry production of invar alloys with a minimum temperature coefficient of linear expansion (TCLE) and can be used for the manufacture of equipment, including large-sized, used in the production of products made of composite materials, in particular from carbon composites. Foundry invar alloy based on iron contains, by weight percentage: nickel 30.0-31.5, cobalt 5.0–6.0, carbon 1.0-1.6, copper 0.13-0.32, silicon 0.12-0.20, at least one component selected from the group of rare earth elements (REM): cerium, lanthanum, yttrium in the amount of 0.05-0.10, iron and the inevitable impurities being the rest. The following ratios are performed simultaneously, by weight percentage: Cu + Si = 0.25-0.51, Cu / Si = 1.1-1.7, Ni / Co = 5.25-6, (Ni + Co) / C = 22.5-35.0. The alloy is characterized by a low TCLE of no more than 2.5 × 10-6 K-1 and fluidity in a complex coquille U-shaped sample from 210-225 mm.
EFFECT: alloy is most suitable for the production of large-sized castings, practically unlimited in weight and size for the production of heat-stable products, including those working as accessories for the manufacture of parts from polymer composite materials based on carbon fibers.
