FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-synchronizing coupling. Coupling comprises a first and a second inner ring, a first and a second outer ring, a pawl, an engagement ring and a plurality of pins. Inclusion ring forms multiple surfaces of engagement with pawls on radially inner circumference and forms third set of curvilinear surfaces. Rotation of the first and the second inner rings in the first direction around the first rotation axis at rotation speed exceeding the rotation speed of the first and second outer rings, engages the first pawl with one of the plurality of engagement surfaces of the pawls in the engagement ring. Rotation of first and second outer rings in first direction with rotation speed exceeding first and second inner rings rotation speed, leads to relative movement between engagement ring and first and second outer rings with movement of multiple fingers outwards in radial direction along first, second and third sets of curvilinear surfaces and aside from corresponding teeth.
EFFECT: reduction in overall dimensions is achieved.
