FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: multilayer co-extruded thermoplastic food shell includes at least one thermoplastic porous absorbent layer and at least one layer with a barrier effect in relation to water vapour and/or oxygen. Layer with barrier effect relative to water vapour and/or oxygen has average thickness from 5 to 60 mcm throughout the surface area. Thermoplastic porous absorbent layer contains, as a main component, at least one thermoplastic polymer material selected from a group consisting of (co)-polyamides and (co)-polyolefins, and comprises sections having a reduced average thickness of the layer, and areas having a reduced average layer thickness. Average thickness of thermoplastic porous absorbent layer on sections having not reduced average thickness of layer is from 10 to 200 mcm, wherein the average thickness of the layer on the areas having a reduced average thickness of the layer is smaller by 7 to 140 mcm and reduced by 30 to 85 % compared to areas having a reduced average thickness of at least one thermoplastic porous absorbent layer. Both types of sites contain pores which are capable of absorbing the functional additive.

EFFECT: invention provides a food shell having the ability to transfer food additives to a food product enclosed in said shell.
