Method in embodiments of this application includes steps of receiving an NF detection request sent by a first NF component, where the NF detection request includes the second NF identifier, and the second NF identifier is used to indicate the second NF; obtaining information on component of second component NF based on identifier of second NF, where second component NF has second NF, and information on component includes detection policy of second component NF and identifier of second component NF; determining, based on the detection policy in the component information, whether the first NF entity can access the second NF component; and if possible, sending second component identifier NF to first component NF.
