FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detecting services based on network functions. The communication method implemented in a network node in a wireless core network with a service-based architecture includes receiving a registration request for a network function instance from a network function, while the registration request contains information identifying the subscriber group to which the network function instance is applicable, and storing the information in a binding to an instance of the network function. In disclosure embodiments, the size of the NF profile may be reduced.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide the ability to reuse and cache the result of detecting network function services.
