FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a spunbonded nonwoven material made from a thermoplastic resin fibre, and the spunbonded nonwoven material has a given water resistance, which is characterized by that during repeated measurement of pressure characterizing water-resistance of spunbonded nonwoven material in accordance with ISO standard 811 second pressure, which characterizes water resistance and measured for second or subsequent times, less than first pressure characterizing water resistance and measured for first time, by value of preset pressure or smaller value; first pressure characterizing water resistance makes 160 mm of water column or more, and preset pressure makes 30 mm of water column or less.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an absorbent article which can provide comfort for a carrier, with a novel approach involving imparting a given water resistance/water resistance to the spunbonded material to be used for the sheet, and not in the traditional approach, which consists in imparting a given water resistance to the nonwoven material obtained by the melt blowing method and to be used for the sheet.
