FIELD: radar ranging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging, in particular, to radar stations (RS) mounted on mobile objects. An onboard radar station (OBRS) comprises a phased antenna array (PAA), an antenna waveguide system, an antenna waveguide switch, a receiver and a transmitter, a beam control unit PAA, a mode control unit, air-to-air, air-to-surface switch, speed, range, angles of air-to-surface mode target, speed, range, spatial angles of air-to-air mode target, stabilization circuit computer, polarization vector control unit, multifunctional indicator, yaw angle sensor, hydraulic drive control unit, PAA is made with hydraulic drive and interconnected with antenna-waveguide system, OBRS also comprises air-air signal processing processor, air-to-surface mode signal processing processor, reference frequency former, first and second modulators, first and second synthesizers, synchronizer, first and second heterodyne frequency generators, first and second output signal generators and signal switch, said devices being connected to each other in a certain manner.
EFFECT: possibility of generating complex, including noise-like probing signals with a large base, which enable to increase range resolution, implement LPI operating mode RS (operation mode of low probability of interception by radio reconnaissance means), thereby increasing stealthiness and noise immunity of RS operation.
