FIELD: radar measurements.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar measurements and can be used during control of main tactical-technical characteristics of active phased arrays (PAA) with multimeter openings under proving ground conditions. Proposed device comprises active receiving-transmitting PAA (1), formed by NxM sub-arrays (2), carrying out conversion of reflected SHF probing signal to intermediate frequency. PAA (1) is installed on rotary support (3), mechanically connected to drive control device (4) providing PAA angular coordinate scanning (1). Tested PAA (1) is oriented by maximum beam pattern of side additional beam direction-finding characteristic in direction of fixed probing signal source. Source of probing signal is formed by antenna (5) connected with help of wave path (6) to output of probing signal generator-heterodyne equipment (7). Antenna (5) is arranged at transmitting tower (8) in tested PAA (1) distant radiation area. Further, device also includes two ampli-phase meters (9, 10), algebraic adder (11), codes switch (12), sub-array number decoder (13), accumulator (14) of codes, arithmetic mean values of sub-array phase incursions computer (15), two bitwise comparison circuits (16, 26), phases mismatch code register (17), "AND" circuit (18), valves register (19), beams spreading angle indicator (20), pulse generator (21), sub-array current code counter (22), "OR" circuit (23), deviation angle counter (24), measurement mode synchroniser (25).

EFFECT: technical result is upgraded efficiency and accuracy of control.
