SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to colorectal surgery. Cylindrical vaginal flap is mobilized. Fistulous passage, which is an extension of the vaginal flap, to the intestinal wall is separated without damaging its lumen. Leaving an intact rectal wall, the isolated cylindrical flap and fistulous passage are invaginated into the intestinal lumen, performing their ectopia into rectum with formation in its lumen of an extended invaginated flap with retention of fibrous walls of fistulous passage and vaginal mucosa after "inversion" in lumen of intestine. Sutures are applied on mouth of cylindrical invaginated flap in intestine for its more reliable sealing. On the side of vagina on the formed site, a cut-in plate is placed - a Permacol bioplastic material which is fixed with separate interrupted sutures, after which the wound in vagina is layer-by-layer closed.

EFFECT: method enables improving the results of the surgical management of rectovaginal fistula by reducing the risk of recurrent disease, reducing a surgical injury, leaving intact intestinal wall, eliminating rectovaginal fistula without damaging surrounding structures and anal sphincter, reducing the number of recurrences.
